The Four of Cups reversed is very similar to that of the Five of Pentacles in reverse. To me, Aries, the universe has offered you this sort of gift, and when it’s upright we may be are not seeing the gift or we’re choosing to ignore it. However, when we see this card in reverse we’re able to actually be in a position to accept the gift that is being offered to us. Is this card one of perfection know. But it does tell us that in the month of February you should keep your eyes open for potential gifts from the universe. If it feels like a sign, trust your intuition that it is. Not everything is going to be perfectly laid out for you, but if we’re willing to pay attention to signs from the universe, we are going to be able to receive them fully.
Taurus: April 21- May 21
Oh, Taurus, I hate this card. The Seven of Swords reversed is one of deception, con artistry, and being lied to. Both upright and in reverse, I see this card as being one that is incredibly painful to have to deal with. When it’s in reverse I often feel that this card comes up in a little bit stronger energy than its upright self. It tells us very strongly to be on guard towards people that are coming into our lives that have mal intentions. We are seeing this sort of energy that speaks heavily to listening to your intuition. If something feels off about a person trust that. Remember that the devil you know will always do it with a smile on their face, but just because they are grinning at you does not mean they have any better intentions for you than any other negative person that might be in your life. I’m not saying to walk through the month of February with paranoia but I am saying to listen heavily to your intuition this month.
Gemini: May 22- June 21
Gemini, you will make it through this month, you just need to believe in yourself. The Eight of Swords speaks very heavily being afraid of the devils that you cannot see, but you know are around you because they have burned you in the past. In this particular situation although your feelings are incredibly valid about any past trauma you might have had that is being triggered this month, that doesn’t mean that you can’t walk away from it. The Eight of Swords speaks of us metaphorically lifting the blindfold and seeing that although we are surrounded by these negative things we are not in imminent danger. Be brave and walk away from the situation knowing that you were going to be just fine if not stronger for having gone through this. Your word for this month Gemini is bravery. You can find it, you have it in you, push through.
Cancer: June 22- July 22
Being a Cancer myself, I am incredibly happy to see the Ace of Pentacles for us this month. Now the Ace of Pentacles is positive to see because it tells us essentially that we are going to have the opportunity to see financial growth/the things we have been working on coming to fruition. But like any opportunity card, it is up to us to push that pressure into the situation to see it happen. If we choose to not push that rolling ball, it will go nowhere. It is up to us to the opportunity and runs with it and I feel though as long as we are able to use this opportunity that is being presented to us. It puts us in a position where the goals we are striving for, can be assured that we will reach them. Here is our opportunity, take it!
Leo: July 23- August 23
Leo, there is some positivity that we are seeing here with the Wheel of Fortune reversed. Now, for many people when they see this card in reverse they see it as bad luck/a stopping in forward progress. But for me, in my history, when I see the Wheel of Fortune in reverse, it is still a positive card of our life moving forward, it’s just not being met at the timeline that we would ideally like to see. It tells us that this month whatever page turn that you were hoping for in your life story, will not be happening in the timeline that you were hoping for. You are still progressing and your work should be something that you are proud of. Because to a slight to and forward to is that progresses Just not right now. Continue to work on the things that you have going on in your life because they are going to work out just not in February.
Virgo: August 24- September 22
For you Virgos, we have the Page of Pentacles. I like Pages because Pages basically tell us that we are at the beginning point of that suits focused progress. It’s very much so like an apprenticeship card. When we look at the Page of Pentacles it tells us that we are at a very good point in our finances and homely matters, to see growth for the bigger picture. It does tell us however to humble ourselves a little bit because we haven’t quite got everything right just yet. We’re at a very good starting point and if you continue to focus in this direction you can see some really great long-term growth. Make sure to continue to be diligent towards the things that you’ve been working on in your homely matters to see their continued overall growth for the bigger picture. Overall this tells me for the month of February you need to be focusing on continuing to make things like budgets, organization, and minute changes for the bigger picture.
Libra: September 23- October 23
For you, Libra the Four of Wands is incredibly great to see. The Four of Wands marks major life accomplishments that create a sense of emotional stability for us. These would be things like graduating college, having a baby, getting married, buying a house, etc. It tells us that in terms of your big life picture you’re going to have something happen to you in the month of February that is going to be very foundational for you. Although at the time it might not feel as though something that is a pillar point in your life, looking back you will realize that this is something that really gave you a sense of stability. If you are able to recognize that this is something going on for you, the Four of Wands implores you to celebrate this accomplishment. When we are safe in our situation there is no reason that we are not allowed to celebrate small life accomplishments. Congratulations Libra this is really great.
Scorpio: October 24- November 22
Don’t get upset Scorpio, the Three of Swords when it is in reverse is so much happier to see then it’s upright self. The Three of Swords typically is one of emotional heartbreak, burdens, and facing a reality that we are not necessarily equipped to do. However, when we see it in reverse it speaks heavily of healing that emotional burden that we previously saw with this card’s upright self. And tells us that you were at a turning point in your life where you can finally start to see growth, and your heart mends from whatever it was that was weighing it down. Celebrate in this time, because whatever it is you have been through you have truly earned a toast to yourself for making it to the other side. Now, this isn’t a suggestion that whatever heartbreak you have is miraculously going to be cured and out of your life forever. But it is marking a turning point to finally being able to move on past it in a healthy and realistic way.
Sagittarius: November 23- December 21
The Four of Pentacles in reverse upsets me a little to see Sagittarius. It tells us that essentially you have found yourself in a position where you are holding onto financial matters, or ideas about your home life, that started out as a healthy practice, but it is now gone a bit too far. You see when the Four of Pentacles is in reverse it becomes a bit of a Scrooge card. The idea of saving our money in penny-pinching, when we have these larger financial goals is incredibly important to do. However if we have stopped doing anything for ourselves that brings us joy while our bank account might be growing, or emotional well is draining. Make sure that you were finding the balance between financial growth and personal happiness. You can see your bank account grow without having to sacrifice every single joy that you allow yourself.
Capricorn: December 22- January 20
Capricorn, the Queen of Wands in reverse tells us that in the month of February articulating your thoughts to those around you in an effective manner is going to be a struggle for you. You might be finding yourself in a position where typically you are very good at communicating exactly what you need and what you want to see happening around you. However for whatever reason finding the words, and having the ideas come to you in a manner that is effective in being heard it’s just not quite found. Make sure to meet yourself with grace and kindness, because we all have mental roadblocks from time to time. Instead of getting frustrated at not being understood, tried to take a step back from situations and re-approach them after a short pause and an evaluation to how to better communicate your vision.
Aquarius: January 21- February 18
Aquarius, the Five of Pentacles is one of my favorite cards to see in reverse. Unlike its upright self, the Five of Pentacles transforms from being a car that is leaving us outside in the cold, to a situation that is quite inviting and welcoming us in. Although this is a card that is warm and inviting, it also does tell us that it is one of opportunity. We still have the autonomy to choose to enter this house or not, and sometimes we might choose to stay outside in the cold because we do not trust the situation that is inviting us in. Which would be a perfectly valid situation. This month, open up to the idea that this invitation does not come as a trick, and then we have the option to be welcome into a situation that we had previously been abandoned by. Make a judgment call based on this situation‘s reality versus necessarily the past behavior we have seen presented
Pisces: February 19- March 20
For you Pisces we sadly have the Tower. The Tower is a card of drama, chaos, and generally having a really bad time. The upside, when we see the Tower is that discard is one of having drama that is self-inflicted. And the reason it’s an upside is that it is a self-inflicted drama, we can also choose a different path that leads us down a less chaotic direction. Although this card is one of absolute destruction and having just a really bad time if we decide to make different choices we can find ourselves in a position that is far less damaging than the potential outcome we have here. Remember to react to situations based on reality, and not your anxiety leading you down a path of a worst-case scenario.
