Featured Tarot Deck: Lovely Omens
Some notable dates this month include:
Full Moon in Sagittarius: June 5th
New Moon in Cancer: June 20th
Aries: Mar 21 – Apr 20
This month, anything is possible if you put your mind to it, Aries. The tools are in front of you it’s just a matter of applying your drive and vision to practice. Everything is at your disposal right now. You have the power to be or create anything you want from reality. The divine spark is inside of you and is ready for action.
There isn’t much to say about this card, others than get up and go. Anything you have been on the fence about doing, this is your sign to follow through!
Taurus: April 21- May 21
The Seven of Pentacles is all about patience, waiting and sometimes just walking away from something that isn’t working. It’s about being suspended and wondering why something that you’ve tended to for so long is not ready to harvest yet.
The Seven of Pentacles foretells and warns of disappointments, long waiting periods, and proposals you want to mull over. Sometimes we really need to step back and look at things from a different perspective. Sometimes there is nothing more we can do. We have to take a step back.
Gemini: May 22- June 21
Oh Gemini, please either check yourself or check those around you. She can be emotionally needy and want her children around to serve her emotional needs above the required needs of her children. The Reversed Queen of Cups will ignore boundaries and feels that she has the right to do whatever it is that she pleases with her children because she is the mom. You may be this bad “mom”. Or you may right away recognize one that is prevalent in your life presently. Create boundaries where they are needed, even if those boundaries are within.
Cancer: June 22- July 22
This month Cancer, is a month of moving forward. The Six of Swords can indicate a catalyst for change. It can indicate that you have met someone that is about to cause profound change. Its presence can indicate that sometimes the best way to end an emotional situation is to move away from it. Times may have been emotional and rough, but you are slowly finding your way out of a difficult situation, to calmer waters, where you are less emotional and more logical. Perhaps a friend can row you in the right direction. Though, you may have to do this on your own.
If you find yourself on the other end of the spectrum, trying to run away from your problems, remind yourself that this solves nothing. And although you’re rowing away from them, you may find yourself back to those same problems before you know it.
Leo: July 23- August 23
Start looking for solutions, Leo. Any situation you may have found yourself at a standstill with may be coming to ahead. Time to drop your swords and begin to look at ways to solve the problem. This doesn’t necessarily need to involve another person. You may very well be trying to choose between two paths without coming to a decision. The longer you leave it, the more it will tear you up inside. If you find yourself starting to look for solutions now, it will be an easier road ahead.
Virgo: August 24- September 22
If the Eight of Wands is reversed there is a delay in action. Things don’t seem to be coming, but should. Someone is holding back but really wants to message or contact you. There could be an unnatural feeling of things not running the way they should. There is a lack of accuracy.
The Eight of Wands Reversed can denote haste. You may have been careless with a project and not met your mark. Often times we see this card in times of missed targets, due to haste and therefore sloppy action. Step back, take a breath, and pause before rushing into anything this month. A job worth doing is worth doing right.
Libra: September 23- October 23
Well Libra, this is a much better outcome than our reading last month. We have to let go this month. This could come in the form of allowing ourselves the space to relax, so we can better our situations. Or it could come in the form of sacrifices. The Hanged Man is an Odin’s card. He’s about releasing himself from the constructs that hold us to “level up” as it were and gain deeper insight.
Sometimes we have to take the back seat, and sacrifice our own happiness in the present to have a better future. Consider that this month. You may have to release some ideas and notions, to put yourself in a better situation in the future.
Scorpio: October 24- November 22
Well Scorpio, when it comes to your job this month, it may be worth slowing down and making sure you’re doing the said job to the best of your abilities. The Eight of Pentacles reversed indicates that you are unfocused and perform sloppy work. You could be cutting corners that end up making more money for you in the short term, but end up with devastating consequences in the long term. With everything going on currently, being unfocused is understandable, but try at least, to not allow it to affect your job.
The work effort in the Eight of Pentacles falls to the wayside when this card is reversed. You are sloppy, indicated, and may even do illegal things to get ahead. It indicates a poor work ethic and underhanded behavior. Illegal is of course extreme, but keep it in your back pocket.
Sagittarius: November 23- December 21
Time for a break Sagittarius. The Four of Swords indicate a place of relaxation, contemplation, and meditation. You could find solace in a church, a zen garden, or near a special body of water. Where ever you feel relaxed and refreshed.
The Four of Swords is telling you that you can heal and restore yourself by silencing your mind. Life’s battles will continue, but you cannot think of this right now. You remain silent, contemplative, and ready to restore and heal yourself until you fight again. This is the peace before the next stage. This is a time to restore yourself before the next fight and to think about all that you are grateful for. You have survived the Three of Swords.
Capricorn: December 22- January 20
Well, Capricorns, this I hate to see. The Three of Swords is all about heartache and loss. It often is associated with loss in our love lives, but heartbreak has many forms. Expect painful disappointment this month. But know that through heartbreak we grow. Its presence suggests someone is keeping a secret from you and you’re aware of it, but don’t want to realize it. Some dreadful piece of the puzzle is about to come out. This is the follow-up card to the Two of Swords. The stalemate is followed by the truth. It has to come out and it will not be easy. Take is as a lesson.
Aquarius: January 21- February 18
The Wheel of Fortune reversed, Aquarius shows us that you need to have a look in the mirror and figure out what’s throwing your life off course. The Wheel of fortune reversed tarot card tells you that you may have been experiencing a lack of control in your life recently like the universe is working against you. Look at and address the imbalances in your life. Too much time, or not enough time working? Look to address the lack of ongoing balance. Once we figure out what is off, fixing it is should be a relatively easy process.
Pisces: February 19- March 20
Things are looking up this month Pisces! When the Four of Cups Reverses itself, you may be getting your life back on track. You may be thinking about meeting new people because the old ones bore you. You may be coming out of a period of boredom and stagnation.
The Four of Cups Reversed can signify deeply psychic feelings that border on illusions. There could be a thin veil between the spirit world when you are lost in deep meditation and rituals. A lack of grounding is indicated. If this is you, take some time to focus on mediations and similar this month.
