Featured Tarot Deck: Neon Moons

Some notable dates this month include:

Full Moon in Scorpio: May 7th

New Moon in Gemini: May 22nd

Aries: Mar 21 – Apr 20

Nine of Zents more commonly known as Pentacles is something we love to see during this current financial nightmare that is the global pandemic. The Nine of Pentacles suggests a pretty comfortable financial future. So although things may seem dire, stressful, and frankly the end of the world, expect a financial turnaround. You may find yourself getting an inheritance or a stimulus you were not expecting.

The Nine of Pentacles can also suggest that you are in the process of developing self-worth and self-discipline. More free time has paid off fo you Aries. This will ensure that you will never lose your wealth. Balance the material with the spiritual and you will see the completion of the nines. Spiritual completion is grounded in material abundance.

Taurus: April 21- May 21

Just like Aries, Taurus, we love to see this! The Supervisor of Zents is the Neon Moon’s version of the Queen of Pentacles! With this, we focus on the tangible this month, the things in the real world we can control. Themes occur within the home, money, and business. This card tells us that everything around us is fertile and filled with full potential. The Queen of Pentacles suggests getting help and helping others in a way that is deeply rewarding. We are in weird times, and her presence is a bit of a nudge that everything is going to be alright. Give help to those around you who could use it, (where you are able) and don’t be too proud to accept it when its offered. We are all in this together, so allow that stability to grow, in whatever means it presents itself.

Gemini: May 22- June 21

The Eight of Arms (Swords) is a bit of a self-inflicted warning sign Gemini. Life is a series of trials, the good times will always have a negative, even if it isn’t major enough to affect you. This is the same for the bad times, there is positive, even if it is not clear quickly. You will always have to deal with things you’d rather avoid, but you can make each struggle easier, by finding the positive.

Remember that you are never truly alone when we get this card. This woman is blindfolded, not gagged. She is not in immediate danger, although she thinks she is, because she cannot see it. There are those in your life who want to have your back, let them.

Cancer: June 22- July 22

This card is very much so about giving and receiving. The Ten of Zents (Pentacles) is such a positive sign in these dark times Cancer. When you have too much money what do you do with it? You pass it on to others, so that they may have abundance too. This is the card of inheritance, family legacies, and marriages. You may be the old man who is giving his house to his grown children and grandchild, or you could be the one receiving the inheritance. Either way, things are looking up, and aren’t as doom and gloom as we maybe felt a month or so ago.

This card is very much so about family. Family sticks together. Now that being said I am fully aware that family is subjective and so should you be! The family is chosen. Whether that’s because we chose to stick with our blood kin or the family we have created within a friend circle. Family sticks together and helps each other out.

Leo: July 23- August 23

Well Leo, the Two of Wires (Wires), when reversed, is a bit of a concerning sign. There is inherent agoraphobia that comes with this card. When upright, we view this as the traveler’s card, he has the world at his fingertips, literally. However, when it is in reverse, there is a real fear and anxiety about the outside world. And to be frank, who can even blame you, the world is a mess!

The world is shifting to a point of “reopening” and this likely terrifies you, unusual for your fiery attitude. To remedy this,  the two of wands reversed advises you to simply give yourself some time. Sometimes we are overwhelmed by choice and it takes a while for our minds to process the choices laid before us. Likewise, give others time to make decisions that include you. There is no rush here, be kind to yourself as we transition into this next chapter.

Virgo: August 24- September 22

The presence of the Strength reversed suggests very similarly to what your Leo friends are going through. The Strength reversed tarot card reflects a lack of energy and willpower and drive that may be striking you right now. Remember, it’s normal to need to feel on top all the time. If you are feeling weak in any aspect of your life, look at what you can still accomplish. Strength when its reversed, lacks the balance that its upright self carries.

The big thing I want you to remember this month Virgo is that no matter where you are in life, you can always improve. Step back, look at the imbalances, and make adjustments where it is needed. This is easy to fall into a pattern of imbalance when we are trapped at home! Don’t beat yourself up, just make adjustments! Ain’t no thang.

Libra: September 23- October 23

Ooof Libra, Libra, Libra, have a word with yourself. The Moon reversed concerns me. When we see the Moon Reversed, this is a huge red flag that you are obsessing about things out of your control and may have some addictive behavior. Addiction can present itself in a variety of forms. This can be the obvious addiction, such as drug abuse and alcoholism. But addiction can also be, addicted to social media, addicted to checking your ex’s profile, etc. It’s easy to do this because we are all trapped inside. But recognizing the pattern of behavior and putting the brakes on it, can be the difference between self destructive patterns and growth.

Life is always going to have times where we are totally out of control of our situation. Making sure we don’t fall into patterns of self destruction during those times, that we can’t get out of is important. Take it as an opportunity!

Scorpio: October 24- November 22

Well Scorpio, the Supervisor of Wires (Queen of Wands) can suggest a very cozy life this month. Be open with ideas, suggestions, and creative input from those around you. Things may be comfortable, but that doesn’t mean this card is suggesting to have any lack of creativity and passion in your life. the Queen of Wands signifies a bold outlook to life. You will need to take the bull by the horns and get going. The Queen of Wands is the card you get when you want to travel to the highest peak in the world or if you want to do something daring and exciting.

Sure this has its limitations in our current situation. But being bold takes a lot of forms. We are home, comfortable, and with free time. Use it wisely. Launch that blog you’ve always wanted to launch, follow your passions. Hone in on the things you care about in a time of isolation.

Sagittarius: November 23- December 21

I hate to see this Sagittarius. Temperance reversed speaks heavily on a lack of imbalance and lack of control. When this card is upright, we look at abstinence and being able to know when enough is enough. However, in reverse, we can see excess. Over drinking, overeating, etc. It’s easy to fall into a pattern of doing too much, or rather, not enough to keep ourselves in a state of order. If you are someone who struggles with substance abuse, or similar, now would be a good time to reach out to those who are in your circle. Sure you may not be able to run over to their house, but there are loads of forms of communication luckily. Remember, you are not a burden and you matter. Those in your life, want to help. So reach out! Even if it’s just to talk to someone for the social interaction and you, fortunately, do not suffer from substance abuse issues!

Capricorn: December 22- January 20

Well, Capricorns, am I surprised that you got the Hermit during a pandemic? Are you? Haha! This is something you rooty friends secretly love, even if you are someone who has a lot of anxiety during all this weird global situation. The Hermit may have you begging for alone time. This is most common when we are stuck at home but have roommates. You just want some time to be alone. This isn’t a call for loneliness, just solitude with your thoughts. This is not a time of loneliness, but of a time where being alone is necessary.

Because of the self-reflective nature of the Hermit, you may find yourself reevaluating much in your life during quarantine Capricorn. You could have thought about what is troubling you for long enough to make a realization and go on with your life, or you might be reaching this point very soon. Relish and grow from it.

Aquarius: January 21- February 18

The Agent of Zents (Knight of Pentacles) is positive to see Aquarius! You may have spent a lot of time recently working on a project, and it becomes a sort of creative baby for you. You may have, as of recently been inspired by those around you, giving you the vision and drive to prop up your own creative vision.

Because of this, it’s presence suggests a very positive near future. The Knight of Pentacles suggests that the near future will be structured and methodical. If you’ve found yourself aiming for a goal, stick to the plans you’ve set out. Don’t get sidetracked, even though it can be easy at times. Sometimes, people can ask things of us that disrupt what we want to do, but it’s usually better to help others over yourself first. As soon as we do, however, get right back on track. Focus is everything.

Pisces: February 19- March 20

The Agent of Arms (Knight of Swords) suggests that you may be at a turning point in your life presents Pisces. You may be directly offered the opportunity to expand and grow during this time. Or you may have found yourself without work, forcing you to branch out and look at other options. Either way, look at it logically, and methodically. Sometimes we get put in situations that we didn’t expect to be in, but it ends up being a gift in disguise.

The other aspect of this card is that whatever your current situation is, it will not last forever. If you’re stressed about work, it’s a reminder that this will pass. If you’re on the fence about changing aspects of your life, make the decision and go with it. Cutthroat. Don’t dwell on the “what if” for too long, just allow it to play out. Make a choice, and GO!
