Hello Beautiful Humans.

I know Tired Witch is mostly informational posting, but I want to start incorporating some more personal workings. Don’t worry, the information train is still coming. But hey, why can’t the witch behind the blog write a bit about herself? As you can see there’s been a bit of an overhaul here on Tired Witch. Improvements, and adjustments, overall something I am prouder of, and looks more intentional.

I want to talk about my business… as of today, I mark the first anniversary on social media. I still can’t believe that a year ago, when I humbly decided to expand myself to Instagram, that this is where I have landed. You’ll have to understand that I had almost no expectations. I hoped to, in a year, maybe hit 1k followers. And now look at this, 21k of you beautiful souls. I am humbly grateful and overwhelmed with the outpouring of love. Because of your support, I got brave enough to start Tired Witch. It’s a bit of a domino effect, but has given me so much confidence online that I never had before, or even imagined the ability to reach.

I get a lot of questions, asking me how I did this. And honestly, I have no idea. I just put my heart into it, my soul, and I post consistently. Which isn’t too hard for me, because this is genuinely my life. I don’t have to make things up when I’m just letting ya’ll into a window of my existence. I wish I had some hot tip. I don’t. I work hard, and I am proud of that. I am so grateful for the fact ya’ll have enjoyed what I have to share with you, and I am extra grateful for the small percentage of you, who buy from my shop. Honestly, I wish I could hug each of you individually. I feel like I’m never doing enough for ya’ll, to show how much this lil motley crew means to me.

I have some goals for the upcoming year, which I recognize it potentially detrimental to my success by posting them online. But you know what, I am going to trust, and hope that y’all are in my corner.

Maria (@mariathearcane) and I will be starting a mentorship Patreon in the upcoming month. Listen, I get it’s premature to post about it, but I trust her entirely, and we have been working our buns off to provide content for ya’ll. We get so many questions daily. I can’t speak for her, but I get upwards of 20-40 messages a day asking me about witchcraft, that frankly, I don’t have the time to answer them all. I wish I did. So this is a way to kind of sequester our time. I just want this to be something of value for you guys. That way I can isolate my time, to those of you who need it most.

I want to expand BCM this year too. I’d like to add candles, spell kits and incense. That’s something that I think I can manage happily, and I’m excited at the idea of being able to provide. I’ve started working out logistics, and I think I can get it up and running, in parts, within the next 4 months. Unlike my oils though, they will be stocked. I will only make batches at a time. So this will have to be something that, rolls out slowly. And I hope to be able to do this effectively. I have been meaning to do this for the last 6 months, so the idea of actually making a game plan excites me greatly.

I have a lot of changes planned in my personal life this year too, which I will open up about as and when they come. As I don’t want to jinx it. So I look forward to sharing it with you as and when the time comes.

Thank you all for making me feel so welcome in this weird online community. I was pretty anti-sharing for the longest time. And I am SO grateful to have been proven incorrect in all my fears.
