I have had a few requests recently to focus on how to make a spell, the actual creation process, to which I am happy to focus on. The problem is however, I don’t want to teach you to run, or even cover it when you don’t know how to crawl. So today I want to cover another aspect of spell crafting, color correspondences. Color association varies, practitioner to practitioner, however, there is a sort of general structure that is a “baseline” if you will. I’m going to present a few practitioner’s color correspondences, which of course isn’t secret information, but I’ve compiled it here for you!
The biggest reason it’s important to understand how correspondences have been gotten is that they are highly personal from individual to individual. For example. If you use green for a wealth spell because you read in a Buckland book that’s what it is but you personally don’t associate green with money because money in your country is blue, the spell will fail. So you have to understand why and how someone came to a correspondence conclusion in order to agree and resonate with it…or choose something else for yourself.
So here are a few lists of colors and their meanings.
